The most irresistible Curry Carrot Paté – goes with almost anything
This 5-element Curry Carrot Paté is a delicious breakfast option. It will definitely add some variety to your mornings. It also goes perfectly as a bread topping or in your lunch sandwiches. But that is not the end, test it as a dip, like here, for bread sticks or arancini – rice balls. It works really well as a party dip. Finally, serve it as a dinner side with roasted veggies or hasselback butternut squash and it will be delicious too.
How to utilise an extra bag of carrots

The amounts below are estimated to serve two people as a breakfast option.
To make the paté
Boil 3 medium sized carrots in slightly salted water until soft, transfer them into blender cup and follow the cycle adding the ingredients below:
- Sweet 3 carrots, 1 tablespoon of sunflower oil, 1 teaspoon of honey,
- Pungent 1 tablespoon of mild curry powder (1 teaspoon of hot powder), a pinch of freshly ground black pepper, 2 tablespoons of oats,
- Salty 1 teaspoon of soy sauce, a pinch of salt,
- Sour 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, 2-3 sprigs of fresh parsley,
- Bitter a pinch of turmeric.
The final stage – blending the Curry Carrot Paté
Blend all the ingredients well until smooth and leave to cool down. If the pate is too runny add a tablespoon of oats and blend them in. Repeat the procedure until you get the desired texture. Serve sprinkled with chopped sweet pepper, chopped parsley or toasted sesame seeds.
